M-388 Robotic vacuum is the big brother of the M-288 model. It is slightly more expensive than the M-288 model, but is it better?

M-388 Robotic vacuum looks quite different from the top but it is identical with M-288 model from bottom. It is slightly higher than the M-288 model because of the bump in the middle. This is a design fault. Because the middle part of the vacuum is higher than the front bumper, this is causing some problems as it is sometimes getting stuck under the furniture beause it enters under furniture as the front bumper doesnt stop it from entering places it cant.  Also the top buttons have the texts S, M and L for small, medium and large sized rooms similar to the original iRobot Roomba model which you can find at eBay cheaper than this vacuum. Why bother with a replica when you can get the original?

It works and behaves exactly the same way as M-288 model. I couldnt understand why this model is more expensive. Please read the M-288 review  for more information about how this model work. This model also has the NI-CD 1500mAh battery.

Anyway, I would strongly suggest buying the original iRobot Roomba models as you can get real 2nd generation robotic vacuums with the same price.
